The Rocky Creek SpringFest was founded in 2006 by a group of community minded business people attending the South Augusta Business @ Breakfast meetings.
The mission of the group is to improve culture, art, recreation, and aesthetic appeal, resulting in an improved quality of life in South Augusta as a proud part of Metro Augusta. The SpringFest is a South Augusta community outreach festival formed to promote interest and awareness of our available resources, including local merchants, talent, education, and community services.
The founders share the philosophy it is more important to give than to receive. We believe we have an obligation to participate directly in the continued enhancement of our neighborhoods and leadership.
Working hand in hand with Pride and Progress of Augusta Richmond County, Augusta Recreation and Parks Department and Augusta Technical College our labor with love produces a family friendly dynamic event with free admission to the public.
Our festival is funded and staffed through business sponsorships, in-kind donations, and volunteerism by concerned citizens like you. We hope you participate and allow us to help each other make our shared space a better place to live, work, and play in our Aug US ta.
